Feet in the water, under the sun...
Fine sand, crystal-clear sea and sublime views of the last foothills of the Pyrenees.
An idyllic picture postcard. Nestling in the curve of the Golfe du Lion, the town of Canet-en-Roussillon offers 9 km of sand for all kinds of pleasures. The immensity of its beach remains the town's major asset, and for decades it has been a place of leisure and relaxation.
Whatever the season, going for a walk, exercising or just contemplating the Mediterranean is a moment of infinite happiness and well-being!
A certified beach
Canet-en-Roussillon's European Blue Flag beach is ideal for families, and even more so for children.
No steeply descending seabed, but a shoreline where the surf is calmer and the sandbanks form natural playgrounds. Children can enjoy the shallow water, where their feet are free to play, much to the delight of their parents.
From May to September, the beach is supervised and cleaned every day. 8 lifeguard posts are set up, from the port to the south. The first-aid post at "Plage du Grand Large" is equipped with adapted equipment and staff trained to welcome people with reduced mobility.

Each has its own style, but all share the same approach to quality, both in terms of gastronomy and décor, where the emphasis is on wood and exotic notes.
